About Me
A Peek Into My World š
Hi everyone! My name is Dhea Sofea Binti Raiza, I’m 21 years old. I was born in Pekan, Pahang — a hometown that holds so many memories and will always feel like home to me. I used to have a village in Penang, but I haven’t been back for a long time since both my grandmother and grandfather from my dad's side have passed away. Because of that, my house in town has become my “village.” And honestly, I love it, especially during Hari Raya, when the whole family gathers at my home, filling it with laughter, stories, and the warm feeling of togetherness.
Since I was young, I studied in Pahang town and in Kuantan when I pursued a diploma. In 2025, I have finally left my state and continued my degree in Bangi, Selangor. Now, I’m currently continuing my studies at the university I have always dreamed of — the National University of Malaysia (UKM).
Let me quietly tell you a small story about my family, the ones who shape me the most. Behind the person I am today, there is also a family who has shaped me, supported me, and stood quietly beside me through every stage of my life. In my family, there is my father, my mother, a younger sister, and my grandfather. My mother is a hardworking nurse. She worked long shifts, cared for people at their most vulnerable, and still came home with a smile for our family. Next, my father, a police retiree, carried a different kind of strength and his strong sense of duty shaped the way I learned to handle my own challenges. Although we are not a big family, our home is always filled with laughter, daily stories, and simple moments that bring comfort to the heart. My grandfather also had his own special way of showing love. He was gentle and always ready with life advice and of course, a little bit of pocket money whenever he saw me. While my grandmother passed away when I was six years old, and even though I don’t have many memories of her, I believe her love still lives on and remains a part of our family.
Now that my younger sister, Dyan, is studying at KPTM Ipoh, I can really see how independent she is. She handles her responsibilities well and knows how to take care of herself. We both are studying far from our home at Pekan, Pahang, but my parents never fail to stay close to us in their own ways. Almost every day, there’s a video call, just to check if we’re doing okay, ask whether we’ve eaten, and listen to our small stories about student life. These simple routines remind me that no matter where I am, I am always surrounded by love. Opps, and of course, not to forget my furry family, especially Simba, the little one who fills our home with comfort, soft meows, and unconditional love š¾
This little space is where I choose to express my thoughts, feelings, and small moments from my journey as a student. I consider myself an introvert who enjoys making friends in my own quiet way. I may speak less, but through silence and writing, I learn to understand myself and the world around me. When I’m with people I’m comfortable with, my cheerful and talkative side naturally appears. Eventually, I realized that studying business would allow me to combine all parts of myself, the quiet observer, the thoughtful planner, and the selectively talkative friend. It wasn’t a sudden decision, but a gentle journey of understanding who I am and what I’m capable of. And that’s how I found myself stepping into the business major quietly, confidently, and in my own way. Through this blog, I hope to share small pieces of my story, because I believe everyone has one and not everyone is brave enough to express it š¤✍️
