My Favourite Places in UKM π«
Welcome to my UKM life where classes are tiring, but the campus always has a place to recharge. Let’s talk a little about UKMπ€. Being a student here isn’t just about rushing to classes and chasing deadlines. Whenever I’m tired, bored, or in need of a break, I naturally gravitate towards my favourite spots to study, snack, or just relax.
PTSL: where assignments slowly get done π
PTSL provides various facilities like discussion rooms, computer labs, research resources, and cozy corners that are perfect for studying alone or with friends. Whether I’m rushing to meet a deadline or simply want a peaceful space to work, PTSL is always the place that helps me reset and get things done.

Next, let’s talk about the iconic Pusanika, a favourite spot among students. This four-storey building, with its huge 164,641 square feet space, is one of the main hubs of UKM and always full of student life. Besides being home to the Student Services Department and various student associations, Pusanika has everything we need like cafeterias, retail shops, a post office, ATM machines, and so much more. It’s also the go-to spot for campus events like Introduction Week, PC Fairs, book promotions, and all sorts of fun student activities. No matter how busy the day gets, Pusanika always feels alive and it’s where many of my little study-life memories begin. Whether it’s early morning, snack time, or a well-deserved break after class, Pusanika is always full of life.
No matter what I need food, snacks, or even last-minute essentials, Pusanika always has something for me. And of course, my must-visit spot is Zus Coffee, my tiny celebration corner whenever I finish an assignment or make it through a tough test. My personal favourite drink is the Spanish Latte Frappe, my little “you did great!” reward every time I finish an assignment or survive a test. And honestly, there’s no better place to enjoy it than Pusanika.
Home sweet home, UKM edition π€
The last important place in my UKM journey is my college, Kolej Rahim Kajai. Kolej Rahim Kajai is truly my home sweet home on campus. After long classes, this is where I immediately “disappear” just to sleep and recharge. It’s also where I hang out with friends, talk about everything and nothing, and forget about assignments for a while. Whether it’s relaxing at the foyer or grabbing food at the cafeteria, these small moments make college life warmer, funnier, and feel a lot more like home.
One thing I absolutely adore about Kolej Rahim Kajai is its location. Since the college is so close to the stadium and the field, the whole area feels open, calm, and perfect for evening walks. KRK is also famous for its gorgeous sunsets, the kind that make you stop for a moment just to admire the sky. The walking path around the college is surprisingly peaceful, and it’s my favourite place for a little brisk walk while watching the sunset slowly paint the sky. π
